Lake Eola is a favorite downtown destination for Downtown Orlando visitors and residents. A delightful walk around this residential lake while watching the Swan Pedal Boats cruising around the lake. Several places to sit along the shore and enjoy a picnic. Ducks and geese populate the lake, a delight to watch. There is a Publix market along the south side of the lake, making it easy to grab a quick take-out lunch. Within the lake is a bar and grill, where visitors can enjoy an open-air dining stop. The free downtown looper bus stops by Publix. The free bus also stops at the Downtown library and takes you to the gigantic Lynx bus and Sunrail depot, where connections depart to all points in Central Florida.
